Valentine is a sweet but shy 6 month old German Shepherd mix.  The world is a scary place for him but his foster siblings are showing him the ropes.  Valentine will need another dog in his forever home to help build his confidence.  He is fostred with cats; the cats do not run away from him but his foster mom feels that Valentine would chase a cat if it ran away.  He sleeps through the night on the floor.  He is learning about toys, the doggy door, the leash and dog beds.  He will come in the doggy door but has not figured out going out yet.  He is learning about affection from humans but still moves away from the adult humans in his foster home for now.  As with all puppies, he likes to chew on items, so some chew toys are a must for him.  As Valentine settles into his foster home, he will learn how to live the life of a dog.  He will need a forever family who will be patient with him and allow Valentine to adjust to his new surroundings in his time.
